Here is another destination my family had planned when they came to visit me. We didn't stay long, but honestly how much time do you need staring at a big ass hole in the ground. On the way back, however, we decided to take a different route which had lead us to discover a few exciting things in northern Arizona.

When driving we had passed what looked to be a buffalo farm. My family wanted me to stop the car, however, when they told me it was too late and I had passed it. Not too far down the road we had spotted a very interesting a-frame, single room church. We had stopped and took a few photos as pictured below. When we left the church we turned around and went back to the buffalo farm.

Upon entering the buffalo farm, it appeared to be another Grand Canyon side-of-the-road gift shop with nick-nacks covering the shelves. We had paid a $15 group fee to take the guided tour during which we learned that these animals are true albino buffalo and not just white buffalo. These are very rare and only about 1 in every 10 million. The farm also housed an Alpaca, many white dove, and a few dogs. Originally these animals were from Montana, from a farm that produced buffalo jerky. This is seriously the best jerky around which can be purchased here. The land this farm is located on is consider by many as being spirtual and for the buffalo. In the pictures you will see many items left by people the world over. Part of this is because of the number of albino buffalo produced by the buffalo family. Another reason is because of the mountains near the farm. When there is snow on the mountains, as it was the day I was there, one can see symbolic images on the mountain. These images would include: a buffalo, a coyote, and a few other native american images.
